This bed is everything you would want in a platform bed. It came packaged very well with no broken boards and the wood looked flawless. Its was pretty easy to put together but you may need to people as it does get heavy. I put it together by myself in about 3 hours at the most. the bed comes with the bed frame, slates and headboard which is unbelievable for $174 queen size which other people are selling for $300 and $400 WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME BED. I had the company to send me some extra slates because the more the better and they sent them totally free with in a few days which made this purchase even more of a deal. BUY THIS BED U WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ONE BET.

Bed arrived on time and in great shape. Took us one and a half hours to put it together with two people. Very sturdy and looks great! Definitely recommend buying this bed!

Tips: the headboard can be tricky to attach and the screws don't seem long enough but they will fit.

This bed comes in three boxes which led to some shipping problems (though the problems were quickly fixed by Amazon). Assembly was fairly simple, though flipping the bed alone was a tad difficult. The packaging for this item was simply atrocious, however. It came in a box within a box, and while the outer box seemed like it was designed to protect everything inside, it was pretty low quality cardboard that pretty much disintegrated at the touch. The inner box was a bit better quality, though there was low quality styrofoam inside that also disintegrated. Many, if not most, pieces of wood had minors chips or nicks, but fortunately almost all of the imperfections wound up being hidden after assembly. The bed is sturdy feeling and I really like the way it looks...just be aware that unpacking will make a mess.
