I got this for my wife's Bday. Excellent lil netbook. does everything she needs it to do and able to see a 4gig mem chip is great. streams 720p excellent and runs all her programs with no issues. Don't expect a super computer but for a great travel netbook with good video play back it does the job very well.

Picked this up after returning a acer one netbook of the same size to walmart. The acer drove me crazy with its limitations and the fact to upgrade the ram requires taking the entire netbook apart. Amazon's shipping came great, and when the netbook arrived i immediately upgraded to windows home premium. Two weeks later i upgraded to a 4gb stick of ram. It boots fast, and handles most anything i throw at it. Plants versus zombies runs great on it, and even a few older games from steam even work fine. installing portal now. Only thing to watch out for, is like all amd's this netbook runs a bit hot, but nothing that will burn you, burn down your house, melt opposing ninja's faces off. I highly recommend.

This is my 4th eee. I had two 701's and a 901. They are all still working and all I can say is that this is how a netbook should be. Cheap and usable. Upgrades done are putting 2GB RAM as the 1gb is not enough for this shared memory device. On the forums, They say that this can handle 4GB but that I will do in the near future. Also formatted the HD and made it into one big partition and loaded up Win7 Ultimate 64 bit. Drivers were found on the Asus website.
I havent tried the HDMI port on this. But its a good addition if you want to watch movies on your flat screen.
