I bought this as a gift for my kid. About the time he got used to it, the darned thing quit working. Short battery life - shortest camera life of any of the half dozen digitals I've purchased.

I bought this camera because I thought it would be good for a beginner like me. Overall, I've been very fond of this camera. It's easy to take pictures and convenient. You can take plenty of pictures (at least 100 something) using the low quality, at least 29 mid-quality pictures and several high-high quality pictures. And this is without any memory card or anything. You can take a 1 minute video with sound if you haven't really taken any pictures at all.
The only faults I have about this camera would be:
- It chews the batteries FAST (I recommend for you to get rechargable batteries)
- Putting the batteries in is confusing (don't know which side to put the batteries in) and closing the battery case is annoying sometimes
