I bought this as a "safe" table for a beginning walker. I was looking for something cheap, expecting it to be destroyed. I have had the table for a few months now and absolutely love it. I was expecting particle board, but this is actual wood and is a quality piece. The top has yet to be gouged or scratched, even with hard plastic toys being banged on it all the time! It looks like a high-end piece of furniture and I am thinking about getting more of the set!

This item arrived without the hardware and when I called to receive it they told me they would just send a new one, however, I had already torn apart the old box looking for the parts that didn't exist. I didn't want to deal with sending the old one back so my husband went to purchase the hardware at our local hardware store. I was issued a credit for the hardware, however, the table has really never held together right. If you move it at all it loosens up right away and I now wish I had just sent it back. The finish is awesome minus a blemish on the bottom shelf.

Stylish table for the price. Assembling the table was easy, took me around half an hour. I wish the concealed drawer was a bit smooth, the guide mechanism that attaches to the draw and stops it from falling off doesn't work properly.
Also noticed some minor scars on the top the table and the bottom shelf, initially I thought they were part of the wood pattern, but after seeing the end table I realized the scar on the coffee table is real, you have to look real close to identify it. I use this in the living room a place that I hardly use on a regular basis, but If you are planning to put this in a room that you use regularly (like a family room) I would defintely looking for something else.

Apart from the scars I like everything about the table, size, color and material
