This is just one of those things that works wonderfully for some babies and doesn't work at all for others. I've had 3 babies that *hated* beind swaddled. Then, along came baby #4. He loves being swaddled and when he is swaddled he sleeps like a dream, we're talking 8+ hours a night by 2 months old. As any mom knows, if you find a product that can provide that you want to shout from the rooftops!
Three 'issues' with it.
1. The velcro does not bother baby but it does bother me come laundry day. It doesn't stick to itself well enough in the wash to not get stuck to any knit baby items you may also have in the wash. This is a pain. I wash all my baby stuff in baby detergent seperate from our normal stuff so now I have to wash the baby's knit stuff seperate or it'll get ripped apart by this velcro. Doesn't affect the use at all but it is annoying.
2. Sizing, at least with my baby. He outgrew the small/medium at 2 months old. He's now 3 months old, and 16.5lbs and I am worried about what I am going to do when he's too big for the 'large' size! One of our large blankets (a green cotton one) seems very close to him outgrowing it very soon!
3. I cannot find a size large anywhere!!! That's why I had to go online to order more. ToysRUs had one neutral/boy colored size large and that was it, that was the cotton green one...no microfleece and I live in Wisconsin. He's in these every night and I like having different colors and I'd love if they offered prints in the large size.

All in all, if you have a baby that likes being swaddled, I highly reccomend these. I have the big muslin blankets that everyone seems to love and I do love them for many things but swaddling isn't one of them. He scoots down and gets the blankets in his face or loosens the swaddle and wakes up. He's not been able to loosen the swaddle on these blankets and he's a strong baby, plus I feel like they are safer. This blanket stays where it's supposed to, I've never found it anywhere near his face.

We just received this swaddle and put our 3-month old baby to sleep in it. It's awesome, so soft to touch and warm and comfortable! She looks like an angel in it :)
This is great and easier to use than our blanket swaddles. Although I believe she will soon be able to wiggle out of it - she is already pretty strong, but I think it will last us for a couple of months.

I found this at a thrift store and almost didn't buy it - what a mistake that would have been!! I'm going to buy a large one now. This thing is an absolute lifesaver!! Babies learn how to wriggle out of being swaddled pretty fast, but this thing is AMAZING!! They can still move around, but not startle themselves and they stayed covered up.

I LOVE IT!!
